Diarmuid Ahern

Mr. Ahern joined TrueAero’s materials division as Director of Sales in Europe. Mr. Ahern was promoted to Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing 2023. In this role he has responsibility for TrueAero's Aftermarket Business Development and Sales. He is responsible for business development and relationship management in Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Mr. Ahern has worked in the aviation industry for over 15 years encompassing roles in MRO, key account management, and aftermarket sales. Mr. Ahern began his aviation career with Aer Lingus in their Melville, New York Customer Support Centre as part his Bachelor Of Business studies degree. In 2004, he took a role in the MRO sector and ran the Customer Services Division of a well-known engine parts repair network, developing that role into material management.

Mr. Ahern graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick and has since continued his studies during his professional career, with a Diploma in Management, along with most recently a Diploma in Aviation, Leasing & Finance from the Law Society of Ireland in 2017.
